SkeleTONS
Skeletons are a lot of fun to draw. I was intimidated by them for a long time, but this year I conquered my skeletal fear. It turns out when you draw in the way I draw (pretty simplistically and loose), they aren’t so complicated.
Welcome to my radical blog! this week, I’m talking about crayon skeletons.
Skeletons are a lot of fun to draw. I was intimidated by them for a long time, but this year I conquered my skeletal fear. It turns out when you draw in the way I draw (pretty simplistically and loose), they aren’t so complicated.
I’ve also rediscovered how much fun it is to draw with crayons. I have a 5 year old son who loves to draw, so our house has a lot of crayons at the ready. AND I think my dog has finally gotten sick of eating the crayola casualties that get left on the ground. Sidenote: It was really cool picking up his turds and seeing specs of green and blue, but its probably better for him to not eat colored wax.
I made a skull stencil for my son so he could easily make skeleton heads, now we have an awesome wall full of them. He even took to the street to let our neighborhood know that skulls season is upon us .
I also got really into drawing skeletons with crayons, even when my son is at school. I’ll take a break and draw a skeleton and feel like I really did something.
Now that halloween is nearly here, my son is shifting his interest towards drawing godzilla and crocodiles. Life really is full of complex and unexpected turns.
